Camelot Care Group Expands Its Dementia Care Business

Camelot Care group, owned by husband and wife team John and Angela Teasdale, is adding a 28-bed dementia unit to its Wellington care home in Somerset after securing £1.5 million finance to increase its dementia support services.
Camelot Care has been operating for 15 years in Wellington and Plymouth after buying their first nursing home, in Weston -Super-Mare in 1997.
A further care home is in the process of being developed in Bridgwater called Avalon House, a former NHS mental health unit in Bridgwater which was acquired by the business in October.
Planning permission has been granted for its conversion to a 58 bedroom dementia and mental disorder care home to create a further 50 jobs when the home opens next year.
